•  Celebrate the 15th National Sr. Health & Fitness Day! — The common goal for this day is to help keep older Americans healthy and fit. Always the last Wednesday in May, National Senior Health & Fitness Day is the nations’ largest annual health promotion event for older adults!
•  Aquatic Fitness Facility — Did you know that water is 12 times more dense than air? Try some liquid strength/cardio options! Check out the pool schedule for a wide range of classes for children & adults– a great option to gravity! Congratulations to the Stingrays on earning a grant fro USA Swimming!
•  Fitness Trainers — The trainers are ready to help you enhance your workout with some great options or assist with improving form and technique. Even if you can’t make a workshop, just ask and they’ll gladly provide suggestions and expertise! Kick off your day with bootcamp or gets your legs in gear each week with Brian.
•  Group Fitness — Join us for a special cardio interval class followed by Group Power on Memorial Day. Also watch for some schedule changes for the summer. Be sure to share any requests or comments that you may have. We do value your input and try to accommodate as many as possible!
•  Member Relations — Developed just to enhance your experience at the Club and keep you well informed of the many activities available to add value to your membership. Looking for something to spice up your Club visits? Ask about the alternative workshops and clinics that are available...or put in a request!
•  Racquetball and Wallyball — Registration is now available for summer doubles. Play begins in late May. If you’d like an intro or a refresher, see Val at the clinic! It’s easy to learn, fun to play and provides a great workout in a short period of time. We’re proud to host the National Wallyball Tournament this month!
•  50+ Senior Solutions — A Lifetime Investment! Your health and well being are the single most important thing you can invest in. Join us this month to refresh and rejuvenate your efforts! Check out yoga, Power Pilates, core control, and Group Power classes in The Body Shop which are all perfect for seniors.
•  Spinning® — Our 7th annual Spinning Journey was fabulous! 7 years strong… 38 riders...3 hours on a Spinner..$6300 to help those with cancer...the ability to Make a Difference...PRICELESS. In 7 years, we have raised nearly $40,000 for cancer! Fun rides this month for Cinco de mayo, Mom’s Day and Memorial Day!
